3.5 stars….Before getting into this review, I have to make note of the vast amount of grammatical errors that I encountered whilst reading this book. This was quite pitiful, because the story in itself was a beauty to behold, but the lack of thoroughness took away from the overall enjoyment of this delightful story.After getting passed this hiccup, I was pleasantly surprised by the content of this endearing story.The Anatomy of Jane is a beautiful tale about love, irrespective of its form. It’s also about following your heart and doing what makes you happy.Jane Chapman has had a difficult life growing up in the system from a very tender age. After unknowingly getting mixed up in some unlawful matters at her job, she was left with no other choice but to seek work elsewhere, which led her right into the arms of Maxwell Emerson and Wesley Uhler.Max is a renowned news anchor with the reputation of airing the most scandalous and hottest stories. He’s an alpha male with a resting jerk personality. Max is not the warmest or most open individual, but after getting to know him, you’ll find that he has woven himself into your heart with his caring and genuine nature.Wes is a prestigious chef with a heart of gold. He’s alpha, cocky and bold. Wes is also the wild and free-spirited one of this amazing trio.This is my first MFM book and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the content of this book. The book is not solely based on the psychical connection between the characters, but it also dives deep into the emotional connection of this trio. Their connection is very genuine and exquisite. They care deeply for each other and have devoted themselves to their relationship, including the practicality thereof. Their connection was an absolute pleasure to read and I enjoyed it immensely.Although caring deeply for each other, it’s not without great sacrifice, because a relationship between three individuals is morally frowned upon. This is a recurring theme in the book, which causes you to become very emotionally invested in these characters and their love story.The book ended on a cliffhanger that left me speechless! I didn’t foresee that happening at all. With that said, I’m eagerly looking forward to getting my hands on the second book in the WJM series to see where this story leads to.If you’re looking for a MFM book with some exceptional characters that have a genuine emotional connection, then grab yourself a copy of this book.
